First off...  If you would like to email or book the band, click on this link.  Two Hoots and a Holler.

Rick Broussard front man of the famous band Two Hoots and a Holler.  Together with his guitar, vocals and the rhythm section, made up of Brendan Ryan and Scott French. Two Hoots and a Holler have become one of the best bands of Austin Texas.  Winning the AUSTIN CHONICLE MUSIC AWARD for BEST ROOTS- ROCK BAND 7 times.  They have been playing around Central Texas for almost 20 years and they still pack the bars or halls they play in.   When they play, the dance floor is full!

With influences from Buddy Holly to the Clash and Roy Orbison to the Cramps, Two Hoots and a Holler have great original songs and can play a mean obsure cover.  Their blend is Roots- Rock, Country, Cajun, Punk, Swing, or whatever they feel like playing.  Their sound and energy just fills any room.  So, if you want to see a great band and love high energy shows you  have to get out there and see Two Hoots and a Holler!  You will not be disappointed. Whether you like hard rock, garage rock, roots or soft ballads, Two Hoots and a Holler is the band to catch.

You never really know who you might catch making an appearance with the Hoots.  In the past many notables of the Austin music scene played in the band such as Charlie Robison from Chaparral and The Millionaire Playboys, John Reed and the most recent Hooter Pete Gordon of Mojo Nixon fame.  The people who frequent the Hoot's shows have also produced several momentary members to the band.  These additions range from people like Brian Setzer to Charlie Sexton.  That's what makes Two Hoots and a Holler so special.  The high energy and the spotaneity, make every show worth going to see.  Their blend of music and their fans make you want to keep coming back for more.  Make sure you catch their next live show or tour.

During they're European tour the band made quite a splash.  Their CD is sold all over Europe and is found in many of the juke boxes.  They now have quite a following of foreign fans.  Specially in Finland and Scandinavia,  Two Hoots and a Holler made many new fans and friends during their tour.  They look forward to going back.

The band's popularity has also helped them secure a spot in a University of Texas Student film aptly named, "Step Fast",the name of a song from their CD No Man's Land .  This is only one of the projects Two Hoots and a Holler have undertaken to boost them into the national spotlight.  They have been named Best Roots Rock Band in the Austin Chronicle Music Awards.  The guys are also hoping for a stop on The Texas Connection.
